Why Camera Module Lines Need Dedicated Spot Curing

Camera module assembly has become a thermal balancing exercise. Lens barrels, VCM actuators and image sensors are bonded with UV adhesives that cure in seconds, but the assemblies themselves tolerate very little heat. A mercury spot lamp delivers the energy but also delivers infrared load, which shifts focus and stresses the adhesive interface. Each head uses a cold mirror and quartz lens assembly, so the visible and infrared load that reaches the part stays low even during continuous operation.
